Babbitt’s Takes 4th Round of AMA Arenacross for Top 3 Overall
2/01/2010Team Babbitt’s has done it again: a victory from Josh Demuth gave the team its seventh straight win in AMA Arenacross. With wins and podium spots in every round of the series to date, Babbitt’s’ riders occupy the top three spots in the race for the championship. Round 4 was held January 30 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Demuth led the round’s single race from the start, grabbing the holeshot and a decisive lead throughout the rest of the contest. Teammate Chad Johnson took second place, with Tyler Bowers taking a spot in the top ten in eighth place. Bowers holds first place in the overall rankings, with Johnson in second and Demuth in third.
Round 4’s winner praised the performance of his Maxxis products. “My Maxxcross tires hooked up really well and gave me really good starts, and they had real good bite in the whoops,” said Demuth.
