Maxxis’ Rider on Podium at GNCC Motorcycle Opener
3/03/2010Christopher Bach rode Maxxcross tires to second place overall at the GNCC motorcycle opener, held March 2 in River Ranch, Florida.
Privateer Bach made steady progress throughout the contest, gaining the lead twice toward the end. Bach, who took the podium in his first-ever XC1 Pro race, praised the performance of his Maxxis tires. “I rode the Maxxcross SI front and rear, and they were phenomenal. I had a great start, and they hooked up the entire race, even when it was super sandy or in the mud,” he said.
Maxxis’ sponsored riders also took the top two spots in the XC2 Pro Lite class, with Jason Thomas of Fred Andrews Racing in first place and Jesse Robinson second. Maria Forsberg took first place for Maxxis in the Women’s class, while Mandi Mastin took second.
