Maxxis on List of Global Top 10 Tire Companies
6/09/2010Maxxis has been ranked tenth on Tyres & Accessories’ annual list of the top ten global tire companies. The prestigious ranking was announced last month, and the complete, detailed list will be published in the magazine’s June issue.
Solid global sales in an economically turbulent environment helped Maxxis’ ranking. The company took in more than $2.7 billion USD (1,887.4 million euros) in 2009.
The company’s relative strength even in an economic downturn is no aberration. Steadily increasing sales have been a hallmark of Maxxis’ global operations for more than a decade. By 2007, Maxxis’ revenue had more than quadrupled over the past ten years. With distribution to more than 170 countries and operations in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East, the company continues to grow at a brisk pace.
Maxxis extends its appreciation for this recent top ten ranking to its more than 22,000 employees around the world, whose efforts have built a successful, dynamic company.
